The Fast and the Furious 6 & 7
November, 17. 2011.
Hello folks, I must apologize for not updating this site till the end. Unfortunatlly just when the things started to heat up, I got some health problems and gave most of my movie sites to my brother to update, but he lost the interest after a while.
Thats why this site kinda didnt followed the Fast Five till the end. After I got back into the game and started working on other projects I noticed that this site still gets visits, so I decided to fill it up with some changes to kinda end it in a proper way :)
One thing I can tell you - theres gonna be more Fast & Furious movies. The Sixth and Seventh are in the scripting mode and Director Justin Lin is at the helm of projects. Both movies will be connected with a story and they will prolly be made back-to-back.
From the actors, Vin Disel, Dwayne Johnson and Jordana Brewster are confirmed while Paul Walker, Michelle Rodrigez and Thom Barry are still rumored. One new face still in rumore phase is a new tough guy in Hollywood Jason Statham.
Since the movies are in very early stages, many things can change on the actors list so stay tuned. When the things start to heat up i'll be covering them both.
The filming should start next year and first of the two movies is set to premiere in May 2013.
Till then, drive safe ;)

Filming is underway on FAST FIVE, the fifth film in the FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise, and three new actors have signed on to join Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Paul Walker in the film. Spanish hottie Elsa Pataky, Joaquim de Almeida and Matt Schulze, who you may remember from the first film (I, for one, don't but that's just me).
Almeida will play the film's villain, a ruthless and powerful drug lord (there's a stretch for a villain). But what you really want to know is who the hottie is. She'll be playing Vin Diesel's new girlfriend in this film and you may have seen her before in SNAKES ON A PLANE (she was the really hot mom with the baby). Pataky doesn't have much film experience beyond that but boy is she hot (no seriously, she's hot).

Ludacris Also Returns for "Fast and the Furious 5"
July, 13. 2010.
Tyrese Gibson confirmed that in addition to himself, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has joined the cast of "Fast Five," the fifth installment in the "Fast and the Furious" franchise.
Now, via his Twitter account, Ludacris has revealed that he will also return for the new movie. He wrote: "Just landed in Puerto Rico. Shooting for Fast and Furious 5 is about to be underway..."
"Fast Five" is said to revolve around Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen. Johnson is rumored to play the head lawman.
It looks like Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will have another familiar face riding shotgun with them when Fast Five cruises into theaters next summer. Tyrese Gibson is slated to reprise the role of Roman Pearce, an ex-con and childhood friend of Walker’s character.
Roman was originally created to fill the void left by Diesel when the actor opted not to return for 2 Fast 2 Furious. Gibson was previously approached to make a cameo in the fourth film, Fast & Furious, but scheduling conflicts prevented him from appearing.
Gibson revealed his involvement in Fast Five by way of his Twitter page – where he enthusiastically declared: “I’m back!! Roman is back!!”
There’s speculation that had Gibson been available, Roman would have appeared in the final scene of Fast & Furious – driving one of the cars racing to free Dominic Toretto from the prison transport. Fast Five will pick up where the previous film left off, and involves the main characters (now fugitives) as they are pursued by an unyielding U.S. Marshal.
MTV's Josh Horowitz spoke to the actor recently at the Spike Guy's Choice Awards and he managed to squeeze out a few new details about the character and his role in the story.
"We're gonna introduce a new character into the franchise," he said. "A really unique U.S. Marshal who is hired to hunt and track down Vin Diesel and Paul Walker." Unique? What the heck does that mean?
"He's a former bounty hunter," Johnson explained. "He has a unique group of guys who, when the government has issues in trying to track down and find individuals, they call my character."
"Fast Five," the fifth installment in the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, is set to begin shooting later this year for a 2011 release. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are already on board and they are about to be joined by another action star.
Deadline is reporting that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in negotiations to board the fifth film and is eyeing a starring role. Johnson recently stated that it's time for him to get back to action flicks, which is why he is also working on "Faster" and "Protection."
"Fast Five" is said to revolve around Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen. Johnson is rumored to play the head lawman.
Producer Neal Moritz is one busy man – he currently has no less than 52 different projects in development (according to IMDB).
Two of these films include the fifth and sixth Fast and the Furiousinstallments ( the fifth is currently titled Fast Five), as well as the reboot/ remake of 80s classic, Highlander. Moritz spoke with Collider recently and discussed both projects and their production status.
In regards to Fast & Furious 5 and 6, Moritz said that they would be shot closely together – but not back to back – and that the films would run into each other (no pun intended).
The producer added that Fast 5 would be shooting “in Brazil, Rio, Puerto Rico, a little bit in Los Angeles and some in Atlanta” during the summer.
“They’re on the run and then something happens and they have to…and there’s going to be a lot of people from the previous Fast and Furious in the movie.
We’re talking…we’re trying to finalize the script right now but the goal is to bring touchstone characters from each of the movies back.”
“Fast and Furious will be a very hard movie to shoot in 3D because of the way we do the car stuff and because the movie has such quick cuts. So we have had many discussions about it. I don’t think we’ll actually shoot in 3D but there’s a good chance the movie will be in 3D.”
Fast and the Furious 5 is going to be called Fast Five and according to Vin Diesel, at least part of the film is going to take place in Brazil. The reason we know the location….Vin Diesel posted an update on his Facebook page tonight. He wrote:
Had a meeting with Justin Lin today regarding the Fast saga… some daring but fascinating thoughts in terms of action set pieces… and relationships, old and new. The team is on their way to Brazil this evening, to scout, and to see what selection of cars there are.
While some might wonder why a 5th film is going to get made, I can give you $343 million reasons. That’s the amount the last sequel pulled in at the worldwide box office, and with a reported budget of $100 million, it was a very profitable movie. With Justin Lin location scouting in Brazil, I’d imagine they’ll be shooting in the next few months. Expect updates as we get them. Fast Five is scheduled to be released June 10, 2011.
Universal Pictures is planning a fifth installment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise. The pic is currently being referred to as "Fast Five."
Deals have been closed with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Also returning are director Justin Lin and producer Neal H. Moritz.
Diesel and Walker did not appear in the third installment but made a big return in last year's fourth film "Fast and Furious" which earned over $350 million worldwide.
Chris Morgan writes "Fast Five," a third-time collaboration with Lin in the franchise. The story follows Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) who are fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen.
